Public Sex Environments

Public Sex Environments is an exploration of space, transformed by the knowledge that it is frequented by doggers, cruisers and the sexual voyeurs of these activities.

 

No longer are the beaten down, overgrown and unkempt pathways overlooked; instead they become the possible entrances to a world very few of us will, or admit to, entering. This secret, and largely invisible to most, world is filled with potential fantasy, an area where participants can fulfil their erotic desires. Yet the excitement of sex with a stranger, or indeed watching or being watched, is imbued with high levels of risk.

 

By exploring these places, with this knowledge, I have attempted to depict place as a multifaceted entity, reliant on our own experience and knowledge of it.
